Failte (Welcome) to the home of Awakening Queen Maebh (pronounced May-v), the contemporary
Celtic music
project of Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Elizabeth Pendleton. With inspiration
drawn from
the legends of Avalon to recent political developments in Northern Ireland, her work is
informed
by the abundant realms of Celtic myth and history. This website and project are dedicated
to the Peace Process of Northern Ireland. In fact 10% of each music download is donated to NICIE,
a
Belfast-based organization who have been helping parents establish integrated schools throughout
Northern Ireland for over 25 years.
Here in fact is a music video starring Catholic and Protestant students from Strangford
Integrated College in Co. Down.
