In Awakening Queen Maebh, singer/songwriter Elizabeth Pendleton has conjured up a group of musicians whose talents and musical fluency reflect the material’s Celtic and contemporary roots. Peter “Peas” McEvilley - guitar, bass, keyboards and bodhán. A musician who’s performed in a reggae band and in a punk-rap duo with Julian Lennon, McEvilley has production credits on some half dozen albums, has lent a hip-hop score to the Japanese anime series “Ninja Scroll” and has worked with Narada, Michael Walden and Kitaro. In addition to contributing his extensive dance and electronica expertise to AQM, his work on the bodhrán would make his Irish father very, very proud. Lori Andrews - harp. Andrews’ talent in taking the harp beyond traditional realms has earned her recognition as the premier harpist on the contemporary jazz scene and has won her high praise from such noted artists as Lee Ritenour and Bob James. With some seven albums to her credit, she frequently performs solo and with her group, the Lori Andrews JazHarp Quartet, at events such as The Playboy Jazz Festival. Kathleen Keane - tin whistle, fiddle. Keane is one of the finest Celtic fiddlers on the Irish music scene today. Her virtuosity on tin whistle and fiddle has won her a devoted following and made fans of musical peers such as Martin Hayes and Liz Carroll. An alumna of Gaelic Storm, Keane has a long list of credits including “The Longing,” a #1 song on the Billboard World Music chart, and has performed with such artists as Eileen Ivers, Johnny Cunningham, Jimmy Keane and Robbie O’Connell. Backup singers: Susan Rumor, Shauna Chappell, Heidi Marie and Kelvin Ross. The music is available at
